Section 4: Offences to be cognizable, and triable by First Classs Magistrate

4. (1) Any police officer may arrest without warrant any person who is reasonably suspected of having committed any offence punishable under this Act.

(2) No court inferior to that of a Magistrate of the first class shall try any such offence.
