Section 74: Power of the Board to remove the Member of the Committee

(1) The Board may remove a member, Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Committee, where it is of the opinion that he - (a) has been guilty of misconduct or gross negligence of duty as such member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman; or (b) ceases to hold the qualifications necessary for his being a member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman. (2) No order of removal under sub-section (1) shall be passed unless the person concerned has been afforded a reasonable opportunity of submitting a written explanation in respect to the charges against him.
