(1) If the State Government is of opinion that any area is of special tourism importance in the State and it needs to be developed in a planned manner, it may, by notification, declare such area to be a special development area for the purposes of this Act and also if required, propose theme of development.
(2) State Government may also impose such restriction on any development, constructions, including any type of dealing (sale, exchange) in the land, etc. which may, in the opinion of the State Government, affect the proposed development in the special area declared under sub-section (1) of section 3.
(3) State Government may also transfer such Government land to the Authority as may be required for the propose development.
