The Uttarakhand State Commission for Women Act, 2005State Act of Uttarakhand · Act 28 of 2005

(1) No court other than the court of a Chief Judicial Magistrate, or Magistrate First Class shall take cognizance of, or try an offence, under this Act.

(2) No court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act except on a complaint in writing by an officer empowered by rules made in this behalf.
