Section 14

The United Provinces Land Acquisition (Rehabilitation of Refugees) Act, 1948State Act of Uttarakhand · Act 26 of 1948

(1) Except as provided in this Act, no suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rules or orders made thereunder.

(2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the [State Government] 1 for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rule or order made thereunder.
