(1) The foreman shall, as soon as may be, after he has obtained the certificate of commencement referred to in section 7, but not later than the date of first drawing of the chit, furnish to every subscriber a copy of the bye-laws of the chit and of the chit agreement certified by him to be a true copy.
(2) The foreman shall, within fifteen days of the month succeeding the month in which the first installment of the chit is drawn, file with the Registrar a certificate to the effect that he has complied with the provisions of subsection (1).
Alteration of chit agreement
9. The chit agreement shall not be altered, added or canceled except with the consent in writing of the foreman and all the subscribers to the chit.
Meeting 10. (1) A general meeting of the general body of subscribers shall be held each month in the prescribed manner.
(2) A special meeting of the general body of the subscribers shall be convened by the foreman in the 'prescribed manner on the requisition of twenty-five per cent of the aggregate, of the number of the non-prized and unpaid prized subscribers.
