The West Bengal Agricultural Produce Marketing ( Regulation ) Act, 1972State Act of West Bengal · Act 35 of 1972
(1) The State Government may constitute a Board to be known as West Bengal State Marketing Board, in such manner and with such number of official and non-official members, as may be prescribed.
(2) The Board constituted under sub-section (1) shall perform such duties and in such manner as may be prescribed.
(3) The State Government may delegate all or any of the powers exercisable by it by or under this Act to the Board constituted under subsection (1).
37. The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law or in any contract, express or implied, or in any instrument and notwithstanding any custom or usage to the contrary.
