Section 37

The West Bengal Allied-medical And Para-medical Council Act, 2015State Act of West Bengal · Act 28 of 2015

(1) If before the commencement of this Act, any person has established an Institution or any Institution has opened a new or higher professional course of study or training, etc. or has increased its admission capacity, such person or Institution, as the case may be shall seek, within a period of one year from the commencement of this Act, the permission of the State Government in accordance with the provisions of section 35.

(2) If any person or Institution, as the case may be, fails to seek the permission in terms of sub-section (1), the provisions of section 35 shall apply, so far as may be, as if permission of the State Government under this section is deemed to have been refused:

Provided that nothing contained in this section shall apply to the Institution recognized by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal for its existing Courses.
