GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act XVIII of 1975 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (EXCESS EXPENDITURE, 1963.64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67 AND 1967-68) ACT, 1975. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 26th May, 1975.] [26th May, 1975.] An Act to regularise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1964, the year ending on the thitty-first day of March, 1965, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1966, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1968. It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Short title. Expenditure, 1963-64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67 and 1967-68) Act, 1975.

2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal,— Issue of

(1) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule I nsRs.154.45138A7544 amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees five crores, Rs.4A0,89,160, forty-one lakhs, eighty thousand, seven hundred and fifty-four, Rs,2,60,43,983 (2) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule II and amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees fourteen crores, Rs.1.63,05,281 fifty-three laths, sixty-three thousand, four hundred and seventy- cot so nsolid four, ated Fund of West (3) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule III Bengal amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees four crores, respectively forty lakhs, eighty-nine thousand, one hundred and six[ y, forme services and (4) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule IV purposes of amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees two crores, the year sixty lakhs, forty-three thousand, seven hundred and eighty- 1963-64, the three, and year 1964-65, the ar (5) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule V 1965- ye 66, the amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees one crore, sixty- year 1966-67 three lakhs, five thousand, two hundred and eighty-one, and the year 1967-68. 105 The West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Expenditure, 1963-64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67 and 1967-68) Act, 1975. [West Ben. Act (Section 3.) are authorised for payment and application towards defraying the several charges which were incurred during—

(i) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1964,

(ii) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965,

(iii) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1966,

(iv) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967, and

(v) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1968, respectively, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of each such Schedule and which were in excess of the amounts granted for the services and purposes of the respective year.
