45SA.
Maintenance of Poor Fund "Poor Fund.
(1) The Corporation shall maintain the Poor Fund maintained by the Administrator of Chandernagore immediately before the date of commencement of the Chandernagore Municipal Act, 1955 and the powers and duties of the Corporation in all matters relating to the administration of the Poor Fund shall, subject to the general control of the Corporation, be exercised and performed by a Poor Fund Committee.
(2) The constitution, powers and duties of the Poor Fund Committee referred to in sub-section (1) shall be determined by regulation made in that behalf by the Corporation with the previous sanction of the State Government.
458B.
Contribution of Government for maintenance of Poor Fund.
For expenditure on the maintenance and administration of the Poor Fund, the State Government shall pay annually to the Corporation a sum of not less than twenty-five thousand rupees." ;
