The West Bengal Children Act, 1959State Act of West Bengal · Act 30 of 1959

(1) If any difficulty arises in relation to the application of this Act or in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the State Government may, by order notified in the Official Gazette, make such provisions not inconsistent with the purposes of this Act as appear to it to be necessary or expedient for removing that difficulty.

(2) The power conferred under sub-sec[ion (1) shall not be exercised by the State Government after the expiry of three years from the date of commencement of this Act.

(3) Any order made under sub-section (I) may be made so as to be retrospective to any date not earlier than the date of commencement of this Act.
