Section 14

The West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act, 1983State Act of West Bengal · Act 45 of 1983

(1) The Registrar shall decide all questions as to whether an application made under sub-section (1) of section 13 complies with the provisions of this Act and the rules and whether the co-operative society is eligible to be registered under sub-section (1) of section 11.

(2) If the Registrar requires any particulars or papers for deciding the questions referred to in sub-section (1), he shall forthwith call for such particulars or papers from the applicant or the chief promoter of the application.
