Section 15: Application fo Fire Safety Certificate

The West Bengal Fire Services ( Fire Prevention And Fire Safety) Rules, 2003State Rules of West Bengal · 1950

( I ) Every owner or occupier of any high-risk building shall submit an application in Form E thro gh a licensed agency for Fire Safety Certificate to the Director-General/or superior nominated authority every calendar y r together witWthe documents mentioned therein and a requsition for fire safety of the licensed agency duly recommendin the application.

(2) A licensed ageiley shall receive and process applications in Form E for issue of Fire Safety cc, tificate to the owners or occupiers of a hi -risk-building, subject to the fulfilment of the conditions laid down in the Act and these rules.

(3) The licensed a ency, on being satisfied, shall recommend the application to the Director-General or superior nominated authority with requsition for fire safety listing the fire safety and fire prevention measures adopted by the applicant.
