The West Bengal Homeopathic System Of Medicine Act, 1963State Act of West Bengal · Act 33 of 1963

(1) No person shall use any letters or figures after his name indicating or implying that he possesses any degree, diploma, licence, or certificate as a Homoeopathic practitioner unless such degree, diploma, licence or certificate has been conferred by the Council, or is recognised by it with the approval df the State Government.

(2) Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-section (1) shall be punishable on first conviction with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees, and on any subsequent conviction with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
