The West Bengal Inland Fisheries Act, 1984State Act of West Bengal · Act 25 of 1984

(1) The State Government may make rules regulating the payment of wages, either in cash or in kind or in both, the weekly duty hours and other terms and conditions of employment of the labour employed in fishing activity of any kind.

(2) Such rules may also provided for the mode of settlement of disputes between a fisherman and the labour employed by him.
