Section 21

The Kolkata Land-revenue Act, 2003State Act of West Bengal · Act 15 of 2003

(1) The State Government may, after previous publication, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act.

(2) The rules so made shall have effect as if they were incorporated in this Act.

22. (I) The Calcutta Land-revenue Act, 1850, shall stand repealed with effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Calcutta Land-revenue Act, 1850, shall be deemed to have been validly done or taken under the provisions of this Act.
