The West Bengal Legislature ( Members' Pension ) Act, 1986State Act of West Bengal · Act 18 of 1986

(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Legislature (Members' Short title Pension) Act, 1986. and commencement.

(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1986.

2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— Definitions.

(a) "Legislative Assembly" means the Legislative Assembly of the State of West Bengal;

(b) "Legislative Council" means the Legislative Council of the State of West Bengal existing immediately before the of 1969. coming into force of the West Bengal Legislative Council (Abolition) Act, 1964.
