In the ease ofLifts operated by power other than electricity, an Inspector of Lifts may, by order in writing, relax the provision ofthese Rules to such extent as it may be necessary to run such Lift. Such Lifts must, however, comply with such instructions as may be issued in this behalfby the Inspector of Lifts with the approval ofthe State Government.
