The Member-Secretary shall discharge such functions and carry out such directions as may be entrusted by the Committee from time to time and shall also perform the following duties :
(i) to receive online applications for certificates ofregistration and shall place the samebefore the Committee after necessary scrutiny and enquiry :
(ii) to maintain a register of all persons and firms to whom certificates ofregistration have been granted;
(iii) to receive applications for Lift Attendant's authorization and shall place the same before the committee after necessary scrutiny and enquiry;
(iv) to maintain a register ofpersons to whom authorizations as Lift Attendants have been granted;
(v) to renew the certificates ofregistration and Lift Attendant's authorization.
