The West Bengal Lifts, Escalators And Travelators Act, 2019State Act of West Bengal · Act 22 of 2019

(1) An appeal shall lie to the State Government from any of the following orders, namely:—

(a) an order under section 5 refusing permission to install a lift;

(b) an order under section 6 refusing the grant of licence to work a lift;

(d) an order under section 14 suspending or cancelling the licence to work a lift.

(2) The decision of the State Government on such appeal shall be fmal.
