(1) If, on inspection of a bull, the Livestock Officer is satisfied that the bull is not fit to be certified as an approved bull under section 8, the Livestock Officer shall, by order in writing, direct the owner or the person in possession of the bull to have it effectively castrated and to produce it for inspection after such castration within a time specified in the order, provided that such period of time shall not be less than six weeks.

(2) The owner or the person in possession of a bull, who, has been so directed under sub-section (1), shall have the bull effectively castrated and produce it -before the Livestock Officer within the time specified in the order in writing.
