3. '(1) No person shall convcnc, hold or atlend any public meeting within any consutuency in which a poll i s rakcn for an election in that conslituency within 48 hours before the close of the poll.
(2) Any pcrson who contravenes the provisions of sub-scction (I) shall bc punishable with hne which may extend lo rivo hundrcd and filly rupees.
