Section 16

The West Bengal Maritime Board Act, 2000State Act of West Bengal · Act 30 of 2000

(1) It shall be the duty of the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman to attend every meeting of the Board unless prevented by sickness or other reasonable cause.

(2) The Chairman shall, as soon as possible, send to the State Government a copy of the minutes of every meeting of the Board and shall furnish to that Government such reports, returns, documents or other information as it may, from time to time, call for.

(3) The Chairman shall exercise supervision of, and control over, the officers and other employees of the Board in the matter of administration of the Board and in the matters concerning the accounts and records of the Board.
