(1) The State Government may transfer any institution under a Gram Panchayat subject to such conditions, limitations and restrictions as may be agreed upon.
(2) When any institution is transferred under sub-section (1), persons employed by the State Government shall with effect from the date of such transfer be deemed to be employed by the Zilla Parishad or Panchayat Samiti or Gram Panchayat to which such institution is transferred, on terms and conditions, not being less advantageous than what they were entitled to immediately before such transfer.

36 of 1963. 208. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Limitation Act, 1963, the period of limitation for the institution of any suit by or on behalf of a Gram Panchayat, a Panchayat Samiti or a Zilla Parishad for the possession of any immovable property vested in such Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zilla Parishad from which it has been dispossessed or of which it has ceased to have possession shall be sixty years from the date of dispossession or discontinuance.
