On the coming into force of these rules, such of the provisions of the West Bengal Panchayat Rules, 1958 relating to a Gram Panchayat and the provisions of the West Bengal Panchayat (Gram Panchayat Administration) Rules, 1981 and the West Bnegal Panchayat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Gram Panchayat Karmees) Rules, 1995 is hereby repealed:
Provided that such repeal shall not effect the previous operation ofthe said rules in respect of things done or omitted to be done thereunder before such repeal.
