The West Bengal Payment Of Subsistence Allowance Act, 1969State Act of West Bengal · Act 38 of 1969

(1) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act, save on complaint made by or under the authority of the State Government.

(2) No court inferior to that of a Presidency Magistrate or Magistrate of the First Class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.

12. If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the pro-.

visions of this Act, the State Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette, issue such directions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as appear to it to be necessary or expedient for removing the difficulty.
