The West Bengal Premises Requisition And Control (temporary Provisions) Act, 1947State Act of West Bengal · Act 5 of 1947

(1) Whoever contravenes any provision of this Act, Penalty.

or fails or neglects to obey any order made thereunder shall be punishable ,with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which, may extend to two thousand rupees or with both.

(2) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under sub-section (1) except on the complaint in writing of the Collector.
