(1) The State Government may, by notification, make rules for Power to make rules.

carrying out the purposes of this Act.

(2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the matters which may be or is required to be prescribed.

14. Nothing in this Act shall apply to a mine as defined in clause (i) 35 of 1952. of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Mines Act, 1952.
