The West Bengal State Tubewell And Lift Irrigation Act, 1974State Act of West Bengal · Act 48 of 1974

(1) The Project Authority shall maintain such books, records and accounts and in such forms and manner as may be prescribed, regarding—

(a) the indents received, the supplies of irrigation water ordered, the lands receiving irrigation and the owners or occupiers thereof; and

(b) the operation and maintenance of the irrigation project and the conduct of its business.
