(1) Every Development Authority shall, subject to the provisions of section 22 of this Act, as soon as may be, constitute an Advisory Council, for the purpose of advising it on the formulation and coordination of plans for the development of the area within its jurisdiction.
(2) The Advisory Council shall consist of not more than fifteen but not less than eight members as may be appointed by the State Government in this behalf.
