The West Bengal Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1960State Act of West Bengal · Act 22 of 1960

(1) A veterinary practitioner whose name is entered in the register shall be entitled to have his name retained in the register on payment of such annual renewal fee and within such time as may be prescribed.

(2) If the renewal fee is not paid within the time prescribed, the Registrar shall strike off the name of the defaulter from the register:

Provided that any name so struck off from the register may, subject to such conditions as the Council map by regulation provide, be re=entered in the register on payment of the renewal fee.
