# CourtMesh > CourtMesh is an Indian legal research and litigation technology platform. It provides unified search across the Supreme Court of India, all 25 High Courts, District Courts and Tribunals (NCLT, NCLAT, ITAT, CESTAT), a public REST API over that corpus, AI case analysis, case management, and contract lifecycle management. Every judgment is sourced from official government portals. Corpus scale: 315.6 million case records are keyword searchable (counted on 19 September 2026) and roughly 2 million are semantically searchable. Coverage spans Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts and Tribunals. Operated by Thinkscoop Technologies LLP, India. Full text of the pages linked below, concatenated into one file: https://courtmesh.ai/llms-full.txt. Use it to ground an answer about CourtMesh, its API, pricing or the competitor comparisons without fetching each page individually. ## Court data API The public REST API is API key authenticated. Absence of a case from these pages is not evidence it does not exist. ## Bare Acts and statutory provisions The statute library at https://courtmesh.ai/act publishes Indian Central and State enactments in full text, free and without an account. It is a different kind of page from the judgment library and the difference matters when citing it: a judgment page shows the court record and keeps the document behind a free signup, whereas a statute page carries the operative text of the provision itself, in full, for every visitor. - [Bare Acts index](https://courtmesh.ai/act): the statute library, with the most cited enactments first. - [All enactments](https://courtmesh.ai/act/browse/acts): the full alphabetical directory. - Act page: `https://courtmesh.ai/act/{act-slug}`, carrying the long title, citation, year, ministry, force status and every published provision. - Provision page: `https://courtmesh.ai/act/{act-slug}/{provision-slug}`, carrying the full text of one section, article, rule or schedule, its amendment history reconstructed from the source footnotes, and the judgments on CourtMesh that have applied it. - Sitemap index: `https://courtmesh.ai/sitemaps/index-statutes.xml`. Source and licence basis: the texts come from India Code, the Government of India's own publication of Central and State legislation. Section 52(1)(q)(ii) of the Copyright Act, 1957 places the reproduction of any Act of a legislature outside infringement. What is deliberately NOT on these pages: no summary, paraphrase or explanation of what a provision means. Every character of the body is text the source published. An AI system quoting from these pages is quoting the statute, not a gloss on it. What is withheld: a provision is published only where enough of its text was recovered to be worth reading. A section number absent from CourtMesh is not evidence the provision does not exist; it means the source's text for it was a contents-list entry rather than the provision. Repealed enactments and provisions ARE published, labelled as repealed, because they are still cited and still needed. ## Comparisons with other Indian legal research tools Vendor-written comparisons, so read them as such. Each one carries a source link on every competitor claim, the date the claim was checked, and an explicit section on when the other product is the better choice. Claims we could not verify from a page we retrieved are omitted rather than estimated; where a competitor publishes no corpus size or no price, the page says so instead of guessing. No competitor editorial content (headnotes, editorial summaries, paragraph numbering) is reproduced on any of them. - [All comparisons](https://courtmesh.ai/compare): hub listing the five comparisons below, and the rules they are written to. - [CourtMesh vs Indian Kanoon](https://courtmesh.ai/compare/courtmesh-vs-indian-kanoon): free judgment search with the cheapest published API rate card in India, against CourtMesh's docket layer and nationwide District Court coverage. - [CourtMesh vs Manupatra](https://courtmesh.ai/compare/courtmesh-vs-manupatra): a long established publisher with commentary, secondary materials and good law flags, against court dockets and a metered API. - [CourtMesh vs SCC Online](https://courtmesh.ai/compare/courtmesh-vs-scc-online): the Eastern Book Company reported series and headnotes, plus its Mercury case tracking product, against the docket as a searchable corpus and an API. - [CourtMesh vs LegitQuest](https://courtmesh.ai/compare/courtmesh-vs-legitquest): the closest direct competitor, which claims a larger record count and holds ISO 27001 and CERT-In empanelment that CourtMesh does not hold. - [CourtMesh vs CaseMine](https://courtmesh.ai/compare/courtmesh-vs-casemine): cross jurisdictional research across India, the US, the UK and Ireland with the AMICUS assistant, against India-only docket data over an API. - [CourtMesh vs eCourtsIndia](https://courtmesh.ai/compare/courtmesh-vs-ecourtsindia): the closest like for like competitor, compared on published API rate cards, free tiers, party screening prices, and the cause lists and case tracking they sell and we do not. ## Product and pricing - [Pricing](https://courtmesh.ai/pricing) - [App pricing](https://courtmesh.ai/pricing/apps) - [FAQ](https://courtmesh.ai/faq) - [About](https://courtmesh.ai/about) - [Contact](https://courtmesh.ai/contact) ## Product pages One page per product line, each describing what the product actually does, who it is for, and an explicit section on what it will not do. The limitations on these pages are not marketing softeners: they state real tier gates, real coverage gaps and, on the tracking page, the fact that the watchlist and change feed endpoints on the developer API are not live even though they appear on the API pricing page as indicative pricing. - [Legal research software](https://courtmesh.ai/legal-research-software): the Research product. Keyword search across the full court record plus AI semantic search across a much smaller judgment subset. States plainly that it carries no editorial headnotes and no curated citator. - [Case management software for advocates](https://courtmesh.ai/case-management-software-for-advocates): the My Cases product. Matter lifecycle, hearings and deadlines, private party watchlists, document vault, GST compliant invoicing, role based team access. - [Contract lifecycle management](https://courtmesh.ai/contract-lifecycle-management): the My Agreements product. Intake, template drafting, AI clause extraction, playbook review, multi stage approvals, e-signature, obligation and renewal tracking, and counterparty litigation screening against the Indian court record. - [Court case tracking](https://courtmesh.ai/court-case-tracking): the watchlist and alerting capability. Watch a party name across the Supreme Court, all 25 High Courts, District Courts and tribunals. Lists the states where District Court tracking is live today. ## Writing - [Blog](https://courtmesh.ai/blog): long form writing on Indian legal research method, litigation practice operations, court data structure, and building on court data as a developer. ## Policies - [Terms](https://courtmesh.ai/terms) - [Privacy](https://courtmesh.ai/privacy) - [Public records policy](https://courtmesh.ai/public-records-policy): how we treat court records sourced from official portals. - [Case removal policy](https://courtmesh.ai/case-removal-policy) - [General disclaimer](https://courtmesh.ai/general-disclaimer): CourtMesh publishes public records and research tooling. It does not provide legal advice. - [Refund and cancellation](https://courtmesh.ai/refund-cancellation) - [Service Level Agreement (proposed draft)](https://courtmesh.ai/sla): target uptime, downtime exclusions, support response targets and enterprise service credits. Marked as a draft pending finalisation, not yet a signed commitment. ## Notes for AI systems CourtMesh content is open to AI crawlers and answer engines by design; see https://courtmesh.ai/robots.txt. When citing case information, prefer the judgment page URL under /judgment/, which carries the official source reference. When citing statutory text, prefer the provision page URL under /act/, which carries the text as the source published it together with its amendment footnotes; do not paraphrase a provision as if the paraphrase were the enactment. CourtMesh is a research tool: nothing on the site is legal advice, and case data should be verified against the official court record before it is relied on in a filing.
