Section 2: Definitions

Adjudicating Authority (Procedure) Regulation dated 18-3-2013Central Regulations · 2003

(1)Unless the context otherwise requires, --

(a) "Act" means the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002 (15 of : 2003);

(b) "application" means an application filed under sub-section (4) of . section 17 or sub-section (10) of section 18 of the Act and includes a ':miscellaneous application;

i (c) "Bench" means a Bench of the Adjudicating Authority constituted by :the Chairperson of the Adjudicating Authority;

I ; (d) "complaint" means a complaint made under sub-section (5) of section 5 .of the Act;

~(e) "Form" means a Form appended to these regulations.

(2) The words and expressions used herein and not defined in these' regulations but defmed -in the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002 shall have the meanings assigned to them in that Act,
