Section 14: Audit of Administrator-General's accounts

The Administrator General’s (Maharashtra) Rules, 1970State Rules of Maharashtra · 1963

(1) The Administrator- General's accounts shall be audited half yearly for the periods ending 30th June and 31st December in each year. These audits shall be directed to ascertain that the accounts have been properly and accurately kept and that all Money received and disbursed have been duly accounted for.

(2) The securities held by the Administrator-General or on his account shall be verified by the officer or officers deputed by 1[Chief Auditor, Local Fund Accounts Maharashtra State, Bombay for this purpose, and shall be certified by him or by them as provided in clause (d) of section 44.
