Section 1: For clause (b) of sub-rule (7) of rule 10, the following shall be substituted, namely

"(b) completes the prospecting operations in accordance with these rules and establishes the existence of the minerals, such holder shall make an application in Form IX to the Competent Authority for grant of quarry lease within ninety days from expiry of licence period or the such extended period by Director which shall not be more than six months."

2. In rule 13,-

(i) in sub-rule (1), for the words "Schedule V and VI respectively, the words "Schedule V" shall be substituted.

(ii) in sub-rule (2), for the words "seven days'', the words "fifteen days" shall be substituted.

(iii) in sub-rule (2), for the words "Schedule V and VI, the words "Schedule V" shall be substituted.
