Section 13: For rule 60, the following shall be substituted, namely

"60. Permission for disposal of Minor Minerals obtained during excavation work within Mining Lease area granted under the Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.- The State Government shall grant permission for any minor minerals, obtained during mining operation within mining lease area or as an overburden/ rejects during processing/ beneficiation/crushing and such minor mineral is not going to be utilised for rehabilitation of the land of mining area as per mining plan, for the purpose of utilisation in construction activities or utilisation in other works/sale in view of conservation of mineral on advance payment of royalty and contribution to District Mineral Foundation Trust:

Provided after required testing of samples collected by the departmental officer from the stack of minor mineral from lease area permission shall be given for use/sell as minor mineral for fixed quantity and for fixed period in view of conservation of mineral as per the mining plan/scheme."
