Section 7: After sub-rule (5) of rule 38-A, the following shall be added, namely

"(6) The State Government, upon an application made to it in this behalf at district office by the Central and State government company or corporations or their undertaking for extension of their quarry lease or mining lease, one year prior to their expiry of lease period as per rule 43, for the reason to be recorded in writing, extend the period of lease for further period of twenty years for one time only.

(7) Non refundable fees of rupees fifty thousand in respect of each application under sub-rule (6) shall be paid. The amount of the fee shall be deposited in government treasury in the revenue receipt head as prescribed in sub-rule (3) of rule 31.''

8. In rule 46,-

(i) in sub-rule (1), for the words "Schedule V and VI", the words "Schedule V" shall be substituted.

(ii) in the sub-rule (2) for the words "seven days", the words "fifteen days" shall be substituted.
