Section 23: Seniority

The Andaman and Niocbar Islands Waqf Board Regulation 2018Union territory Regulations of Andaman and Nicobar Islands · 1995

The relative seniority of employees in any grade shall be determined according to the dates of continuous appointment to the grade. Employees promoted on the same date shall keep the position inter se which they held in the lower grades from which they were promoted.

Seniority of persons recruited directly shall be determined according to the order of merit indicated at the time of selection for appointment.
