Section 2: Definitions

The Andhra Pradesh (Transferred Territories) Extension of Laws Act, 1961.State Act of Andhra Pradesh · Act 7 of 1961

In this Act,-

(1) ‘Andhra area’ means the territories specified in sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Andhra State Act, 1953 (Central Act 30 of 1953);

(2) ‘transferred territories’ means the territories specified in the First Schedule to the Andhra Pradesh and Madras (Alteration of Boundaries) Act, 1959 (Central Act 56 of 1959).
