Section 3: Extension of Andhra Pradesh Act XXXV of 1959 and Acts XIV of 1920 and X of 1950 to the transferred territories

The Andhra Pradesh (Transferred Territories) Extension of Laws Act, 1961.State Act of Andhra Pradesh · Act 7 of 1961

The following Acts, namely:-

(i) The Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Samithis and Zilla Parishads Act, 1959 (Andhra Pradesh Act XXXV of 1959);

(ii) the Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) District Boards Act, 1920 (XIV of 1920);

(iii) the Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) Village Panchayats Act, 1950 (Act X of 1950);

as in force in the Andhra area at the commencement of this Act and all the rules, regulations, bye-laws, notifications and orders made or issued thereunder are hereby extended to, and shall be in force in, the transferred territories and the territorial extent of the Acts, rules, regulations, bye-laws, notifications and orders so extended shall, as from such commencement, be deemed to include the transferred territories.
