Section 83: Form of oatb or affrmalion to interpr€ter

Oath or solemn affirmation shall be adninistered ,o tle Inlerpreter in the followingform before his assistance is laken lor etonining a v itness :

"I do swear in the name of God/solemnly aflirm that I will faithfully and truly interpr€t and explain all questions put to and evidenie given by witness and lranslate conectly and accurately all documents given to me for translation."

8rl. Ollicer to administer oath.- The oath or affirmation shall be adminislered by the Court Offrcer or the Commissioner of Oaths.

No Form recording of dcposition.- ( I ) Th€ Deposition of a witness shall be recorded in Form

(2) Each page ofthe deposition shall be inilialed by the Members constituting the Bench.

(3) Corrections, if any, pointed oul by the witness may, if the Bench/Clommissioner is satisfied; be canied out and duly initialled. lf not satisfied, a notc to the effcct be appended at the bottom of the deposition.
