The Assam Fish Seed Act, 2005State Act of Assam · Act 14 of 2005

(1) The State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette make rules for carrying out the purpose of this Act.

(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing powers such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely: -

(a) Procedure for transaction of business by the committee at its meeting under section 3(3).

(b) Format for submission of annual report by the committee under section 5(e).

(c) Honourarium and allowances and other condition of service of the nominated members o f the committee under section 4(2).

(d) Form for application for registration and licence under section 6(2).

(e) Fees for registration and licence under section 8(2).

(f) Form for application for Fish Seed Certificate and form for Fish Seed under section 14(1).

(g) Matters on which monthly report to be furnished by Fish Seed Regulator under section 15(iv)

(3) All rules made by the State Government under this Act shall, as soon as may be after they are made, be laid before the Assam Legislative Assembly while it is in session, for a total period of not less than fourteen days which may be comprised in one session or two or more sessions, and shall, unless some later date is appointed, take effect from the date of .their publication in the official Gazette subject to such modification or annulments as the Assam Legislative Assembly may, during the said period agree to make, so however that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done there under.
