The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water and Sewerage Board Act, 2009State Act of Assam · Act 10 of 2009

(1) The Board may, from time to time, and on such terms and conditions with the previous sanction of the Government, subject to the provisions of this Act, borrow any sum required for the purposes of this Act, Guarante of Loans

(2) The amount which the Board may at any time raise as loan under sub-section (1) shall be fixed by the Government by notification issued in this regard.

16. The Government may guarante in such manner as they think fit the payment of the principal or interest or both of any loan proposed to be raised by the Board under section 15 of the Act.
