Section 4: Amendment of Section 21 o f tfae Assam Act X of 1953

The Assam Liquor Prohibition ( Amendment) Act, 1956State Act of Assam · Act 13 of 1956

For S ection 21 of the Prin cipal Ac t, the following shall be sub sti tuted , na mely:— “ 21. The Sta te Governmen t may prescribe the conditio ns un de r which licenses may be issued for the ma nufac tur e, im port, transport, sale or possession of liquor on the grou nd th at such liquor is requ ire d by such person for a bona fid t m edici na l, scientific, ind ust ria l, relig ious or such like purpose or for sale to permit holders under Section 20” .
