Section 10: Meetings of the Council

बिहार सड़क सुरक्षा परिषद् नियमावली,2018.State Rules of Bihar · 1988

(1) The Council shall meet at such time and place as may be decided by the Chairman of the Council and shall observe common rules of procedure in relation to transaction of business at the meetings;

(2) Every meeting of the Council shall be presided over by the Chairman of the Council;

(3) All the members of the Council shall attend the meeting of the Council;

(4) The Council shall meet respectively at least twice in a year;

(5)(i) The notice inviting members of the Council shall be issued by Member Secretary as defined in sub rule (m) of Rule 2 (1) above.

(ii) A notice of the meeting of the Council shall be communicated to the members at least seven days prior to the date fixed for the meeting by the Member Secretary.

(iii) The quorum of every meeting of the Council will be one third of the total number of the members.
