Section 11: Power and Functions of the Chairman

बिहार सड़क सुरक्षा परिषद् नियमावली,2018.State Rules of Bihar · 1988

(1) The Chairman of the Council shall preside over all the meetings of the Bihar Road Safety Council.

(2) The Chairman of the Council can call an extraordinary meeting of the Council, at anytime, for the transaction of any business, which in his opinion, is necessary to be placed before such a meeting.

(3) The Chairman may constitute Sub-Committee/Sub- Committees, for special purpose as and when required.

(4) The decision of the Chairman of the Council will be final in case of disagreement among the members of the Council.

(5) The Chairman of Council will be able to take decision on any matter which is important for fulfilling the objectives of the Road Safety. All such matters will be placed for the approval of the Council in its next meeting.

(6) He may invite any person or persons to participate in the meetings of the Council.
