Section 16: Road Safety Cell

बिहार सड़क सुरक्षा परिषद् नियमावली,2018.State Rules of Bihar · 1988

(1) There shall be a Road Safety Cell in all the stakeholder departments directly under the control of Principal Secretary/Secretary of the department and Additional Director General of Police/IG, Crime Investigation Department to look after all the matters related to issues, implementations and compliances related to Road Safety matters.

(2) Initially the following stakeholder departments shall have Road safety Cell-

(i) Home department

(ii) Transport department

(iii) Educational Department

(iv) Health Department

(v) Road Construction Department

(vi) Rural Works Department

(vii) Urban & Housing Development department

(viii) Crime Investigation Department The Council can add any other department if so required.
