(1) Meeting of the Executive Committee will be chaired by the Chief Executive Officer.
(2) In case of dissent of the members of the Executive Committee on any point, the decision of the Chief Executive Officer shall be final.
(3) The Chief Executive Officer may take the services of experts/technocrats to assist them, as required from time to time with approval of State Government.
(4) To review the implementation of schemes, compliance of the policies and of the directions given.
(5) The Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Committee shall supervise the routine work of the Lead Agency.
(6) The Chief Executive Officer shall have power on all those matters which are not enumerated in any rules but which are necessary for the Road Safety issues and seek approval of the Executive Committee and the Council.
(7) The Chief Executive Officer may delegate such of his power (s) as deemed necessary to Lead Agency or Member Secretary of the Council in the interest of Road Safety issues.
(8) To perform all those duties, as directed by the Government, the Council and power delegated by any rules framed under Road Safety from time to time.
