Section 4: Amendment in Section- 4 of Bihar Act 8 of 1988

The Bihar Agricultural University (Amendment) Act, 2010State Act of Bihar · Act 19 of 2010

Sub-Section (1) of Section-4 of the Act shall be substituted by the following:

“(1)With respect to teaching at the University or college level, research, and extension education programmes in the field of agriculture and its allied fields broadly defined in this Act, the territorial jurisdiction and responsibility of the University shall extend to the area as mentioned in Section -3 (1) (i) and (ii).”

(2) Sub Section (4) of Section -4 of the Act will be deleted.

(3) Sub Section (5) of Section -4 of the Act shall be substituted by the following:

“(5) The University shall have authority throughout its jurisdiction to provide for,instruction,teaching,research and training in Agriculture in the State”.
