Section 48: Penalties not to affect others liabilities

The Indian Electricity Act, 1910State Act of Bihar · Act 9 of 1910

The penalties imposed by 1[Section] 39, Section 39A or Sections 401 to 47 (both inclusive) shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, any liability in respect of the payment of compensation or, in the case of a licensee the revocation of his license, which the offender may have incurred.
